Rn Private Care

Cancellation Policy

At RN Private Care, we understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes situations arise that may require you to cancel or reschedule care services. Our goal is to be as flexible as possible while maintaining a professional and efficient service. Below is our cancellation policy, which is designed to support both our long-term and temporary clients.

Cancellation of Scheduled Care Visits
We aim to build long-term relationships with our clients, and we understand that there will be times when care services may need to be cancelled or rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances, such as hospitalisation or illness.

In the event of an emergency, such as being admitted to hospital, we will not charge for the missed visit, as we recognise that these situations are out of the client’s control. Our priority is always the health and well-being of our clients, and we will not charge for cancellations due to serious health concerns.

If a client needs to cancel or reschedule a visit, we ask that as much notice as possible is given. For non-emergency cancellations, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. This helps us manage our schedule and ensure that we can offer care to other clients who may need support.

Long-Term Clients and Flexibility
Our aim is to build lasting, long-term relationships with our clients. We are aware that situations can change, and there may be times when care needs fluctuate. We appreciate the understanding of our clients if we need to adjust the schedule or temporarily fill gaps with short-term clients if required.

If a client requires long-term care but must unexpectedly go into hospital or require a period of rest, we are happy to work with them during this time and accommodate any necessary adjustments without penalty. We strive to be flexible and are committed to supporting our clients through various life changes.

Medication and Healthcare Policy
As mentioned in our Medication Policy, RN Private Care cannot administer medication unless it is provided in a dosette box. This ensures the client is capable of self-administering medication safely. If the client requires assistance with medication, it must be organised through a dosette box system.

Clients must also understand that RN Private Care is not responsible for any issues arising from incorrect medication administration. The client/family is responsible for ensuring that medication is taken correctly, and RN Private Care will only assist with medication management where applicable, based on the dosette box system.

Our Commitment to You
We are committed to providing a high level of care, and we understand that life can sometimes take unexpected turns. If you have any concerns or need to discuss any cancellations or adjustments, we are always here to listen and work with you. Our goal is to ensure you or your loved one continue to receive the best care, even if the unexpected happens.
