Welcome to RN Private Care. By accessing and using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Introduction
This agreement is between RN Private Care (the Caregiver(s)) and the recipient or their family (the “Client”). By engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. This agreement is effective from the date services are first provided.

2. Purpose of Agreement
The purpose of this agreement is to outline the terms under which RN Private Care will provide caregiving services to ensure the recipient is supported in daily living activities, enabling them to remain in the comfort of their own home safely and with dignity.

3. Services Provided
RN Private Care offers the following services:

Personal Care: Assisting with showers, toileting, dressing, and hygiene needs.
Companionship: Providing emotional support and social interaction.
Household Assistance: Help with tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, washing dishes, and making beds.
Meal Preparation: Preparing meals and ensuring hydration.
Prescription Collection: Picking up prescriptions on behalf of the client.
Shopping Assistance: Grocery shopping for the recipient.
Hospital Appointment Assistance: Accompanying clients to local hospital appointments when necessary.
Please note: We do not offer night shifts, and services are provided during the day from morning to evening. We operate Monday to Sunday, and care times are arranged based on the recipient’s needs.

4. Caregiver Qualifications
All caregivers provided by RN Private Care are DBS checked and fully insured through “Surewise” to cover personal care, food/drink assistance, bathing, dressing, domestic duties, and first aid. Caregivers are also trained in basic life support and will seek professional health advice when required.

5. Medication Administration
Our caregivers are not authorised to administer medication unless it is provided in a dosette box. Clients must be able to self-administer their own medication unless otherwise arranged through a dosette box system. RN Private Care is not responsible for any issues arising from incorrect medication administration by the client.

6. Payment and Fees
One Carer: £26 per hour
Two Carers (When Both are Required): £40 per hour (£20 per carer)
Invoices will be sent out on the 15th of each month. If this date falls on a weekend, invoices will be sent the following Monday.

7. Schedule and Flexibility

We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate the recipient’s needs. Our service hours range from 1 to 3 hours per visit, subject to mutual agreement. Additional care time can be arranged upon availability and agreement.

Caregivers are available to assist from Monday to Sunday based on the needs of the recipient.

8. Confidentiality
RN Private Care values your privacy. We will not share personal information about the recipient (including location, health records, or contact details) with anyone who is not authorised, as per the Data Protection Act 2018. All records of care, including notes about health or any incidents, will be kept confidential and accessible only to authorised individuals.

9. Termination of Agreement
Either party may terminate this agreement with reasonable notice. If either the caregiver or the client/family wish to end the contract, a reasonable notice period must be given.

RN Private Care reserves the right to terminate services if there is a failure to meet payment obligations or if the client’s needs exceed the care we can provide.

10. Limitation of Liability
RN Private Care is not liable for any health issues that arise which are not related to the care provided. We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or medical complications that occur while the client is self-administering medication or if the client fails to follow medical advice.

11. Changes to Terms
RN Private Care reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the client and will apply to all future services provided.

12. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging our services, the client agrees to these terms and conditions. This agreement may be amended as needed, but all amendments will be communicated in advance.

Respite terms and conditions

Due to us being a small team of 2, we are unable to offer respite if it requires an overnight visit, even if this includes a sleep in visit. We offer morning to evening respite care subject to availability.
